But it’s more than just software. It’s an ethos of sharing, of collaborating, of people working together to make a difference. Open Source is the revolution you never saw coming.

I love my Mondaine Swiss Railways wrist watch. The second hand design is what makes it so very usable, one super-quick glance and you know the time to the second. I used to run for trains a lot, so it was very functionally valuable then – before I became an Automattician.
My restored 1988 Macintosh SE. It’s actually quite analog once you get the case off. This is the last model of Macintoshes that had the Macintosh Team signatures (including Steve Jobs) etched on the case inner. My kids think it’s from the olden days.
